A farm attack took place on 23 February 2020, between 14:00 and 18:00 in Migdol, Glaudina area, North West province.
Two attackers overpowered a 92-year-old farmer(Piet Raath) and farm worker in the field on the farm. They were assaulted, tied up and a shotgun was taken from the farmer.
The attackers fled the scene and immediately a community cooperation operation was set in motion.
Fantastic and effective flow of information and after the attackers tracks were followed to Glaudina informal settlement both attackers were apprehended and the shotgun retrieved at 17:40.
The victim was not seriously injured after the attack, though very traumatised.
I wpuld like to get a blow torch and torture these evil me as they torment these innocent farmers. Really makes my blood to boil

Farmers must sleep with aggressive dogs in their bedrooms if someone breaks in at least dogs will take the bullet or panga also take dogs all over farms with you
What a pathetic solution. It’s because of how farmers have abused animals for centuries that finally karma is coming back to haunt them. The murderers and hunters have become the murdered and hunted. Why on earth are we kept in the dark about what is really going on in South Africa . If this knowledge was made worldwide perhaps something would be done about these attacks. I am sure that the government would do a lot more to stop these attacks if every country knew what is going on, as it is supposed to be a modern country who would hate to be embarrassed by the bad news coming out of the country secretly. We who are in Facebook can start sharing this news it will be a start.
Off course the world knows. If it was whites killing black farmers the whole world would have been up in arms. George Floyd is a good example. And don’t tell me it’s because it was done by policemen, I don’t buy that story. Every life is precious. Farmers are not killed, they are slaughtered with their wives and sometimes their babies and young children.
Well done SAPS I hope the courts follow through with an appropriate sentence for these dogs.
