Irene Muhl (64), was violently assaulted by an unknown number of attackers and was found severely injured on the dining room floor of her farmhouse after security personnel responded to a panic alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Muhl suffered a number of stab wounds to her head, body and legs and was seriously assaulted. She was stabilized and rushed by emergency services to hospital for attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The home was ransacked but it is unclear at this stage what was robbed. A manhunt was launched by local farmers and police but there have been no arrests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
