An elderly couple was attacked on Friday afternoon by 6 black males wearing police reflective vests.<\/ins><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Farmer Allen Peeters was overpowered outside the farmhouse by the 6 attackers, 5 of whom had handguns and one armed with an automatic assault rifle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Peeters was forced inside the house, assaulted and strangled with a cable tie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His wife, Louise, was also overpowered when she returned home from Sasolburg and tied up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The attackers robbed money, jewellery and 5 firearms and fled the farm in a silver-grey Toyota Fortuner and Toyota bakkie with Gauteng number plates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The couple was able to call for help and Police processed the scene for clues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No arrests have been made.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
