A farm attack took place on Monday 8 June 2020, at 17:00 in Vanwyksvlei, Northern Cape province of South Africa.
Berdine Vos (66) was hit over the head with a rock and assaulted by the two attackers who only left the scene at 19:00.
Vos, who stays alone, went outside to investigate why her dog was barking when she was attacked.
She was robbed of cash, jewelry, cigarettes, and the vehicle keys that left her with no way of getting assistance.
Vos was fortunately not severely injured during the attack. The police are investigating. There is no other information available at this stage.
Can we not have a volunteer service for armed people to volunteer to serve as security for the farmers.
