The bodies of an elderly couple, Danie (83) and Breggie Brand (73), have been found in the Northern Cape on Tuesday after they were attacked on their farm and kidnapped.
This comes after the body of their 50-year-old daughter, Elzabe, was found near Taung in the North West earlier
A horrific farm attack took place on Sunday 26 July 2020, in Magogong, in the Hartswater area, in the Northern Cape.
Danie Brand, his wife Breggie and their daughter Elsabie, who was visiting them, were attacked in their home and very seriously assaulted and kidnapped.
Family and friends who had gone to the home to look for them on Monday 27 July 2020, found a blood stained scene and a ransacked home but no sign of the victims.
The three family members were all missing along with their vehicles which prompted a massive manhunt and search.
One of the robbed vehicles was found late on 27 July 2020, with four suspects, including a woman who is not part of the group, one other attacker is still being sought.
The arrested attackers pointed out the body of Elsabie in the Taung/ Buxton area. The other two victims have not been found.
There is a massive search on the underway but there is no other information available at this stage.

Mostert apparently lives alone on the farm in the Northern Cape. He is being treated in a hospital in Uppington, reports Netwerk24.

]]>Two farm attackers entered the property of a sixty-six-year-old woman looking for cigarettes. They were carrying stones and knives and used them as weapons to assault the woman.
They stole R1 500 from the woman as well as cigarettes, knives, jewelry, and her car keys.
A spokeswoman for the Northern Cape prosecuting authority, Mojalefa Senokoatsane, announced that two seventeen-year-old teenagers have been arrested for the crime and appeared in court on 15 June 2020. The woman is recovering from the injuries.
]]>Berdine Vos (66) was hit over the head with a rock and assaulted by the two attackers who only left the scene at 19:00.
Vos, who stays alone, went outside to investigate why her dog was barking when she was attacked.
She was robbed of cash, jewelry, cigarettes, and the vehicle keys that left her with no way of getting assistance.
Vos was fortunately not severely injured during the attack. The police are investigating. There is no other information available at this stage.

You cannot even trust your handyman, plumber, or your maid. They could kill you even for cheap jewelry or a cellphone. The funny thing is the government keep on turning a blind eye to this.
A farmer was overpowered on his farm by six armed attackers, assaulted and burnt with an iron whilst having being tied up. Some of the farmworkers were also seriously assaulted during the attack.
The farmer has been admitted to the hospital.
The attackers robbed the farmer’s single cab bakkie during the attack which was later found abandoned near Griekwastad.
Police are investigating the attack, but there have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
]]>An elderly couple. Chris Hatting (79) and his wife Tolla (77) were overpowered and assaulted.
The three attackers were wearing balaclavas and threatened the victims with knives before tying them with electric cords. The couple were treated for their injuries by ambulance staff that arrived on the scene and have been extremely traumatised.
The suspects fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, cellphones and a Ford Ranger Bakkie. Police found the bakkie abandoned on the morning of 15 February 2020, at about 08:30 in the Lusaka area in Delportshoop.
The victims are aged 78(male) and 76(female) and did not suffer any serious injuries during the robbery.

A farm foreman was shot dead by two attackers who broke into the farmhouse.
During the farm attack, they also took a hunting rifle from the safe.

Thorough Hawks’ Serious Organised Crime investigations resulted in the arrest of Khumalo and Nkosi, they were subsequently convicted on 30 August 2019, in the Frankfort Regional Court. Nkosi has been sentenced to thirty (30) year’s imprisonment whilst Khumalo received twenty-five (25) year’s imprisonment.
