A farm attack took place on 10 September 2019, in Gerdau, near Coligny, in the North West province.
At about 17:50, Gert and Janet Pretorius were attacked on their farm, along the Bospoort/Gerdau road, by a group of attackers.
A massive and quick response saw four of the attackers arrested with a Nissan NP200 forty minutes later, in the nearby Coligny location.
There is a lookout for the couple’s vehicle, a white Isuzu 2,5 D Tec, with registration HRV 276 NW, that was robbed during the attack. The left-hand mirror on the bakkie is broken.
