A farm attack was averted on the evening of 8 August 2020, at 19:30, on a farm in the Percy Fyfe area, in Mokopane, in the Limpopo province.
Attackers opened fire on the home and a brave Marelie Wroe emptied one and a half magazines from the farmhouse window, in their direction.
The attackers fired at least seven shots at the home were a family of three and a friend were enjoying the evening. Follow up operations by farmers in the area responded and secured the scene.
The availability of a firearm that is close and not in a safe will save your life. There have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
