A farm attack took place on Monday morning, 30 September 2019, at 03:45, on the farm Botterkloof, in Malmesbury, Western Cape province.
A farmer was attacked in his home by two assailants who threatened him with knives. In self-defence, the farmer opened fire on the attackers killing one.
The other attacker fled. The police are now investigating a case of murder against the farmer.
There is no other information available at this stage.
