Female victim shot and killed, husband beaten to a pulp by farm attackers

A farm attack took place on 5 July 2020, in Grootvlei, in the Gauteng province of South Africa.

Alan and Martie Wolmarans were overpowered by farm attackers. Alan was assaulted badly and Martie(44) was shot to death. Alan is still alive but in a very serious condition.

There were three or four farm attackers

During this assault on the Wolmarans family, which took place at about 21:30, another 91 year old female victim also hurt during the attack. Seems that nothing was stolen during the assault.

There have been no arrests. There is no other information available at this stage.
