There was an armed robbery in Kuruman yesterday. They robbed a Chinese Fruit & Veg store just before closing time.
The criminals left after stealing a large amount of cash as well as a phone.
The man who was at the store all along heard the screams of the people and tried to help. The criminals seriously assaulted and injured him.
1 of the men hit him with the back of his gun a few times over his head. He is currently in the hospital in Kimberly. Bones were broken from his face and he sustained fractures to his skull.
There is a case of attempted murder, assault to seriously injure and armed robbery. We cannot give too much information at this stage, the SAPS is still investigating.
Everyone should please. be prepared and attentive. Don’t move with large amounts of cash and keep your phone and other valuables safe.
