On the night of 17 January 2020, at approx 23:20 a farm attack took place on Marina Drive in Nooitgedacht, Muldersdrift, Gauteng province.
Three attackers forced their way into a cottage on the property and when a young lady opened her bedroom door to see what was going on she was shot in the stomach by one of the attackers who then fled the scene.
Drift Reaction Security was on scene within minutes and escorted EMS from Netcare onto the scene. SAPS is investigating the attack.
The young lady was transported to the hospital where she was stabilized and is undergoing surgery.
